# 12 - PSSR Onboard Training

Since January 1, 2026, all crew members must receive onboard training in compliance with the updated Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities (PSSR) requirements. It has been recognised that if crew members have not been trained before, they should receive refresher training onboard to ensure that they are up to date with the new requirements. This training is essential to prevent and respond to violence and harassment at work, including sexual harassment, bullying, and sexual assault. This certificate could be asked by the authorities during inspections and audits, and it is important to have it on board for compliance and record purposes.
