# 08 - Letter Of Free Release

## 1. Introduction

This letter is a template to be used to document the release of a crew member from his/her employment contract with the company and the vessel, upon completion of his/her duties and responsibilities onboard. It's important to note that this letter is simply a formal acknowledgment of the crew member's release from their employment contract and the vessel, and should be signed by both parties to confirm the agreement.

## 2. Simplified Letter of Free Release

Please be informed that `crewMemberName` will be finishing his/her position of `position` on the Motor Yacht `Yacht Name` and upon receipt of his/her salary for days worked up to and including `dateOfTemination`, will have no claims or liens against the vessel or the company.
